USS O’Kane (DDG 77) Rim of The Pacific

[Music] the history RIMPAC started back in 1971 but it was a way to bring nations together towards a common goal it is over the years become a larger and until now in which we have the 25 separate nations the theme to be capable adaptive partners [Music] RIMPAC has been badass no joke this is the most I’ve seen like stuff that wanna see as a VLS tech most of us text I’ll never get to shoot a missile and their entire crew I imagine before years I actually got shooting this so red packets prove one’s been an example of everything we’ve been training for so all the certifications everything that we’ve been training and qualifying in and learning about there’s pretty much all comp came down to here [Music] we actually have people coming approached us other ships another aircraft approaching us who we don’t know so we have to sneak around them or engage them we have to work with other ships but I communicate what I’m talking to them and getting to formations getting lined up especially when we did our photo exercise [Music] [Music] not to mention like stepping outside during the photo ex when we had like 30 other ships around this that was mind blowing yeah it was it was wild actually seeing that executed like all of these other ships all these foreign navies and stuff coming around to like work together as a team [Music] so we’re impact experience has been what we’ve been working for what the Navy is what Dale Caine does
