So here we have the TR 968. It’s the tire
that I use it’s a tire I prefer. The biggest thing that us drifters look for
is a tire that doesn’t de laminate and it’s very consistent throughout. And
that’s what this tire provides. It’s very consistent, it lasts a really long time
you really get your bang for your buck with this tire the tread
design. It is preferred, it’s a directional tire so you can run it forwards or
backwards as a drifter. Either way it’s pretty consistent, there’s really no
change they don’t crack, they don’t spiderweb. Like I said, they don’t shine.
The biggest thing is you don’t want to get them too hot. If you get them too hot
they will bubble up but that usually never happens. Usually you don’t. You do a couple laps and they get plenty of time to cool down. So the shoulder they have a pretty good sidewall so that you don’t usually as long as you can go down to
about 16 psi cold. They don’t fold over so it’s got a really good sidewall
and yeah, I really just prefer this tire over the th 201 and tr9 67. Which at
TR 97 I actually really like, also it’s a 3 they’re both 360 federer tires and 9 6
7 actually has a little bit more grip but it for some reason I go through a
lot faster, but I like both of them. Either one is per port. I run
the TR 968 because it’s in the size that I need which is 265, 35:18.
