optimize for wet conditions, and S indicates optimized for snowy

tuned wears, these letters change in appearance. As you can see, the S is no longer
visible indicating the tire is no longer optimized for snowy road conditions. As the Continental Extreme Contact DWS
tire continues to wear, these letters change in appearance. As you can see, the W is no longer
visible, indicating the tire is no longer optimized for wet weather performance. As the Continental ExtremeContact DWS
tuned continues to wear, these letters again change in appearance. As you can see, the D is no longer

  1. Just put these on today. Michelin's were shot and did not last long enough. These tires feel great so far. It was snowing today and they felt great. Hoping they are quieter than the RF tire my X5 should have.
