Cleaning Chrome Motorcycle Wheels And Tires – Chemical Guys Apex Wheel Cleaner

What’s up guys welcome back to the
Detail Garage. Today I’ve got my buddies Harley in the shop. It’s a daily rider so it gets all this road
debris and brake dust all over the rims and tires which dulls out the finish. I’m going to show you a quick and easy way
to remove all that and bring back the luster. I’ll be using the Apex Wheel Cleaner. All you need to do is spray it on and agitate
it with a brush to get all that filth off and then wipe it away. So I’ll take my brush and then I’ll spray
directly on the surface. It’s safe to get on the tire and just wipe
away any over spray. I’ll start agitating to help break down all that grime. As you can see this Harley has a fender that
is covering a big portion of the tire and I’ll need to move the bike to finish the tire. But it’ll make a good 50/50 comparison on
camera between the clean side and the dirty side. So using this type of wheel cleaner is a lot
simpler than using a bucket and hose. All you have to do is spray on and agitate
then wipe off the dirt. Now I’m going to take my favorite clean microfiber
towel and wipe off the excess cleaner and the dirt. Already the rim has a high shine and the wheel
cleaner has taken care of the brake dust, debris and road grime. This whitewall has been brought back to that
brilliant white shine with a great overall finish. I’m going to move the bike so you can see the comparison between the clean side and the dirty side. So guys as you can see it is a lot simpler
to use a spray on wheel cleaner instead of using a bucket and hose where you have to
rinse it off and dry it. But you can still get dramatic results. So if you want to learn more about these products
