This is the new XR3. It’s a cross-country race tire that’s at home on a variety of trail conditions and it’s as fast as it is versatile. When we began designing the XR3, we wanted something that was fast and light enough to be a legit cross country race tire, but still have durability and traction for cornering and technical trails. Basically, we wanted a race tire that rips. To do this, we combined the best parts of two of our most popular mountain bike tires. We kept the smooth, fast rolling center tread from our best-selling cross country tire and paired it with the more aggressive and grippy side knobs from our most popular trail tire. And there you have it: the new XR3. This tire is both versatile and fast. It’s got the speed of a race tire but can still bite into a corner with confident traction, even in rougher terrain. XR3 also comes with Inner Strength Casing, which provides lightweight sidewall reinforcement. The team Issue version is tubeless ready and comes in multiple sizes. So if you like to hammer the local singletrack with your XC friends and chase your Enduro buddies on more technical trails, you should check out the XR3. It’s versatile, fast, and has biting cornering traction.
